Syrup are Munich based musicians and producer collective, active since two decades. He whole thing is played LIVE, by members from Beanfield, The Poets Of Rhythm (Ninja Tune, Quannum), Germany’s rare groove band No.1. Fine blend of discofied old-school funk, with four-to-the-floor beats, lo-fi funk, horn-sections, nice guitar licks and heavy duty basslines. This 12inch is the first single release from the Syrup album "Different Flavours” back to back with a funky afro-house remix by the Bassline Members (Jan Krause from Beanfield and housemaster DJ Linus).
